Amy Schneider is a second-generation veterinarian and business owner, starting her veterinary career as a young girl helping in her mother’s veterinary hospital. Since then, she graduated from the Atlantic Veterinary College and bought her first practice less than two years after graduation. In 2012 she partnered with Dr. Steele, and they have since created two veterinary hospitals in beautiful Newfoundland. Dr. Amy has always loved her clients and patients and is especially passionate about surgery and dentistry. She was a founding member of the Atlantic Chapter of the Women Presidents Organization and is a recent graduate of the Wallace McCain Entrepreneurial Leaders Program. She spends most of her time now in a supportive role in the hospitals and, when not working, can be found hiking or endurance training her Icelandic horses.
